Platonic model of the ‘classical’ Latin “pure” style for the
entire history of this language. Actual modern editions
obscure this somewhat due to a bit of neglect; but if one
imagines these things written all in capitals, if not some
form of shorthand, employing a cipher Caesar probably
invented (if not just got credited with), they would have
looked not much different in their execution than Cicero’s
rhetorical pieces. He was using a more Hemingway-esque
version, but in terms of actual approach–not much different
than Cicero. Not to mention Caesar wrote poetry himself,
was reportedly a pretty big fan of the art; so when idiots
claim that I am dolling this up to make it more interesting
than it really was, I take no small amount of offense in the
assumption that the guy was only a General (if not the Ro-
man version of  some well-meaning Terrorist-as-President)
so could not have been effortless, ingenious stylist in prose.

Besides the bloated and dogmaticly prescripted strucure of
English having way more words than Latin—got to use ‘em!
